Call for Papers for the 9th Sakyadhita Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Deadline - October 15, 2005!

Proposals for papers are being accepted on research related to Buddhist women and topics of interest to Buddhist women. Proposals should be 250-500 words in length. The extended deadline for submissions is October 15, 2005. Paper proposals should include institutional affiliation and contact information of the sender.

• Buddhist Women and Multi-Religious Dialogue
• Race, Class, and Gender in the Buddhist Diaspora
• Dialogue Across Cultures: Links and Common Ground
• Dharma and Crosscultural Communications
• Buddhism and Global Politics
• Buddhism and Cultural Change: Issues of Family and Sexual Orientation
