Nirmala Salgado

Nirmala Salgado received her B.A. (Hons.) from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and her Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Originally from Sri Lanka, she is a mother and a professor in the Religion Department at Augustana College in Illinois. She has published several articles on the nuns of Sri Lanka.
